Vista progress
Lots of progress in terms of Vista compatibility. LS now loads the new Alt-Tab replacement or the network and volume icons. AppBar support is fixed too.
Unfortunately, some old modules can't fully cope with Vista - for example, depending on the tray module, the network icon might only show its "network broken" icon or it may not react to mouse clicks. Or the volume control slider might pop up in the wrong place. Lots of subtle and not so subtle bugs.
Code cleanup
Since last weekend we have removed a ton of dead code from the LiteStep source code. This kind of code tends to accumulate over time, and we finally sat down and erased a lot of it. It's all in source control in case we need it back, of course.
This isn't a change you would notice in a daily build or such, but it certainly makes development a tad easier.
